Saturday at Jantzen Beach SuperCenter

We just got back from Jantzen Beach and had some 
fun there. We did get to see actor, Peter Facinelli 
as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in The Twilight Saga
there... autographs were $25 and Photos with him 
are $40 with a limit of 2 people per picture. 

Unfortunately, we didn't get a picture with him since
I went alone with the little ones and so, we were able
to take pictures from within the crowd. 

The photo line was pretty big and standing with a 
6 and 4 year old waiting for a picture wasn't going 
to happen. The plan was to go with my 15 yr. old
but then she ended up with her friends today and
we didn't want to stay home anymore. 

So off we headed for The Jantzen Beach 
SuperCenter. There was still lots of people there
by the time we left at 4:30 pm. ..Here's a couple of 
pics. I was only able to take with my phone..
since my digital is in the shop getting fixed..

The kids were happy that they got to get on the
carousel at the Super Center. Glad the kids got 
their wiggles out before we get home.

Now I don't have pink items in my home, even
though I like the color. But I did google a few 
of them to add to my Pink Saturday List. 

This is, Isabella's Cottage pic. 
Now I've never seen a real pink cottage in my life,
ever! But hands down this is a cute one my 4 yr. old
daughter would probably never want to leave..lol..

This pink croc sony vaio laptop is adorable. Wouldn't mind owning one 
of these. 

How about this pink room that was previously used as a Reception Hall 
for Prince Sukhumbhan of Thailand's guests in The Bangkhunprom Palace. 

A pink Bentley? sure.. I wouldn't mind driving one like Paris 
Hilton's for a day.

Casual Friday -

Yesterday was a fun day for us. We had
to be at the church by 10 am to start decorating
for the ward "Back To School Dance" last nite. 


We decided to make it a fun "Reggae Theme"
and had fun putting up the decorations with 
some of the Young Women that showed 
up to help out. 

The bishopric requested "no balloons" just because it's 
alot to clean up. So we honored their request and just 
did it simple with streamers and stars from Party City. 

Thanks, Soana, Ofeina Iongi, Pele, Litea, Tia and Fita for 
showing up to help out!   

Portland Twilight Convention Cancelled, Peter Facinelli To Be There.

I was so excited to attend the Portland Twilight Convention that
was going to be held this weekend.

We just found out that it got cancelled last minute, due to
money issues with the investor that was backing up the convention.

Peter Faccinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Twilight Saga
Movies is still  attending and will be at the Jantzen Beach Super
Center this Saturday, August 29th at noon to hold an autograph
& photo session with his fans!

Now that we're definitely going to be there for:) woohoo...
Look out Dr. Cullen..your biggest fans are coming:)

I'm hoping my little sisters can make it down for this weekend
with my hubby in Tonga for vacation..this will be a great day
to go out with the girls and have some fun!

Goodwill Finds:)

I was able to hit up Goodwill
yesterday with dh. Finally! I've been
itching to go and check out what I can
pick up and fix up to match my living
room decor and the rest of the apartment.

So far, I was able to grab this lamp
for $7.99 and the lamp shade was $6.99
still new in it's wrapper.

A couple of games for the kids, $1.99
each! I'm trying to steer them away
from spending too much time in front
of the tv and the computer. So far,
so good. They went crazy when we
arrived with these. So, that should
keep us busy while dh is in the islands
with his mama.

I love this glass canister. don't remember
how much this was. I'm going to put that
in the girl's bathroom and fill it with
Q-tips or something.

My Hubby's 40th Birthday

I woke up this morning at 6am and said
Happy Birthday to dh as he too was getting
up to get ready for work. (He's just turned
40 years old)I'd like a cake like one above
but, will stick with simple today.(below)



He usually doesn't like to eat breakfast
at home, because he's always in a rush. But
I thought he'd like to eat pancakes and
scrambled eggs for breakfast before he heads
out.

So do I have anything planned today? Well
kinda, he's not really big on big birthdays
so I'm planning on just baking his favorite
cake- Chocolate with Whipped Cream on top.
none of the sugary icing..with his fave
ice cream.

He wants it simple since he's spending most
of the money to get his stuff to travel
to Tonga next week with his mom.
We were busy running around yesterday to get
a cooler to pack all the candy in there for
the kids in his village and haircare products
for his relatives.

I'm trying to figure what I'm going to buy
him with 20 freaking bucks..(that's leftover
after our shopping and gas for the car
yesterday) I was eyeing this really nice tie
that was already boxed at Costco yesterday..
for $9.99 and then the kids and I could just
sign a card.

He's already got a alot of nice stuff
so I figured that's as far as my budget would
take me..






Ok, so after haggling with the kids at Walmart
we ended up getting him a birthday card and
a 2 in 1 Axe Shampoo & Conditioner w/ an
Axe Styling puddy included. While the kids
fought over getting a Harry Potter & Twilight
Poster for their rooms..(should've gone alone
on this trip)..lol.

Family time: Movie Night

Last night was great for the children & I.
My husband went out again so we ended up
watching Confessions of a Shopaholic, 17
again & Dragonball Evolution on Comcast's On Demand.

The kids really liked, Dragonball and I
had alot of laughs on Confessions of a Shopaholic
and 17 again. wow, Zac Efron's a hottie!
By the time 17 again came on the kids were
already asleep while I stayed up watching.
Which by then was already 1:30 in the morning
and about the same time my dh comes in.
I asked him if he wanted to stay up and watch
with me but, he turned in and went to sleep.

Great movies,will definitely do this more often!

Blog hop -Encouragement

Finding out 3 months ago that my husband fathered a child with his best friend's wife (from New Zealand) hasn't been easy for me and has me wondering why I'm still married and in this relationship. His wife and I were both pregnant at the same time and our children would've been the same age. I lost my baby girl at 5 months and her son (with my husband is now 2 yrs. old) Every time I see this little boy at church on Sundays there's no mistaking that he's my husbands. He's the spitting image of him and looks totally different from the couples two older children. Ok, so with that off my chest, I've kept this saying close to my heart and it has kept me strong since this whole thing has been revealed. I hope it'll be the same for you. God Bless
